This blogging thing is spreading like a virus through the family. My mother is hilarious. Inspired by my innitiative, she has set up her own blog- but with a twist! She has cooked up some elaborate story about a strange nordic heritage. She's even teasing me by calling hers theIceland Expat. Very post-modern, mum :-)
My own chronicles won't get anywhere unless I figure out a way to post my pictures online. I spent last night investigating my options. I thought Google would have some sort of online photoalbum service after they acquired Picasa, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Shame. I'm investigating other options. What's this Flickr thing?
Merry Christmas
ADDED 22 January:
I've finally figured out how to upload photos. Below are christmas pictures. Mother and Didi reading christmas cards; me and Dad trying to control our excitement over all the presents; and a couple of pictures of a traditional Swedish christmas smorgasbord.
Like a good friend of mine once said: I'm planning my Great Escape. Don't get me wrong,- I love Dundee. The weather, the people, the gym. The Christmas decorarations. But there comes a time when every boy must grow up, and that time has come for me. Well, it came and passed about two years ago... so maybe it would be a good idea to move out of my parents house.
So, here officially begin the chronicles of Christian's Great Escape from Dundee. For my friends, family and also for some people I don't like very much but still treat very nicely but inside I am thinking bad thoughts.
